Stephanie Shannon is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Master’s of Arts in Counseling Psychology degree at her alma mater, National University. Since she was an adolescent, Stephanie has had an intrinsic desire to help those around her, especially as it relates to their emotional well-being. As a disabled veteran of the Navy and a mother of a child with autism, these experiences have taught her the power of patience
and perseverance.
Across her work with children, teens, adults, and couples, Stephanie believes all clients have the answers they’re seeking within them, and she sees it as her job to guide them through their unique journey to self-realization. She takes a strength-based approach rooted in the belief that even our most painful moments provide an opportunity for growth and healing. Stephanie’s core focus is to make all clients feel safe and empowered to enable that healing process.
In her spare time she enjoys going to sports games and comedy shows, binge watching true crime, and riding her motorcycles.
